He holds Athelstan close and warm, kissing his kisses light. "Oh yes, I completely believe in fate. All things happen in their own time and for their own reasons. And some thing are just meant to be."

"Like everything to do with Ragnar and me."

[wanderingsin]

"Absolutely. I've never felt anyone drawn to each other quite as strongly as you and Ragnar." He nuzzles Athelstan's neck lightly, the ruby tipped piercings at his nipples rubbing gently against Athelstan's chest.

"I don't know what it is. But I knew it the moment I saw him. And something like it when I saw you."

"And he knew it too." Sin smiles, kissing him warmly. "That's why he stole you."

Sin steps back and takes Athelstan's hand, leading him into deeper water. Sin loves swimming, loves the feeling of weightlessness. "I'm flattered. I felt it too, that night I opened your mind under the stars. I know you would be someone I would love. And I do."

Athelstan treads water fairly easily, moving back towards Sin.

"That was the greatest favour anybody had done me in years."

Sin smiles and swims to Athelstan, wrapping arms around him again. He kisses Athelstan slowly and deeply.

He takes Sin into his arms as well, returning the kiss.

"Where have you been lately?"

[wanderingsin]

"You know me." Sin hitches a leg over Athelstan's thigh as they float together, seeming like the most natural thing to do. "A little bit of everywhere. I'm still in the US. I've been drifting towards California for Coachella. That's always fun."

"Coachella? That's a big festival, right?"

He doesn't object to anything Sin wants to do.

Skinny dipping always makes Sin so wonderfully tactile. And just a bit horny.

"That's the one. Always new friends to be made, experiences to be had." He shrugs. "Profits to be made."

"All good things", Athelstan says with a nod. "I know all your profits are fair."

[wanderingsin]

"And what I sell is clean and enjoyable." He shrugs. "I get uncomfortable with seeing myself as a drug dealer when it's not like that."

[athelstanthescribe]

"Drug dealers don't care. And God only knows what real dealers put in their stuff."

[wanderingsin]

He shudders a little. "I helped a friend put together cheap pill testing kits, so people can find out if the high they bought is safe. It's terrifying how often they're not."

[athelstanthescribe]

"What do they test for?"

[wanderingsin]

"it's a two step test - the first step tests for the presence of the most common party drugs. It's amazing how many kids end up paying a fortune for aspirin or sugar pill. The second tests for the most common dangerous additives." He shrugs again. "It's not a perfect system, dealers change their formulas faster than the kits can keep up with but it's a start at least."

He nods. "It's probably saved a few people at least. If not saved their money."

[wanderingsin]

"That's the hope. And that it will keep those who do deal in that sort of thing more honest. Word of mouth is a surprisingly strong force within the party drug crowd. There are even review websites." He smiles warmly. "It drives Toby, the kit's designer nuts that none of my stuff tests properly. I don't tend to use the traditional MDMA based formulas."

Athelstan chuckles.

"Well, I'm sure you've had no complaints."

[wanderingsin]

"And lots of repeat customers." He laughs and kisses Athelstan again. "Hence the big order of rainbows."

[athelstanthescribe]

"You only sell them face to face, I guess?" He returns the kiss briefly.

[wanderingsin]

"Oh yes. I have a few special friends who hold on to a couple of extras for me but I only sell from my own hands. That way no-one can pass things off as my work."

[athelstanthescribe]

He nods. "And you know who you're selling to, as well."

[wanderingsin]

"Exactly, so I can be sure the people I sell them understand how to use them. And so I can be sure I'm selling to the sort of person who's going to use them right."

"I guess even your stuff could be dangerous if you took too much of it at once."
